In conjunction with an Insurance Broker, the
Australasian Solarium Association has secured an Insurance
Underwriter with re-insurance through Lloyds of London.
We are able to offer members an exclusive Solarium
Insurance Policy, covering Fire, General
& Liability Cover for Tanning Studios, Hairdressers and
Beauticians, inclusive of Treatment Risk covering use,
and operation of Solarium Machines
We have created an accreditation system for members, so
that any member can proudly display their membership detail
and logo, and feel safe in the knowledge, that the Solarium
Association will keep them informed about requirements and
changes.
An educational package, including a very comprehensive
Training Manual for Solarium Operators will be supplied to
all members, once joined. We have started a website for the
Association, with the latest information from Europe and
America about our Industry.
We constantly and
consistently peruse the media, and when necessary will
demand retractions of untrue allegations.
